Veni, vidi,…but ...

...Obama is no Julius Caesar!

Andrew Bolt  asks, not without irony I think: "How naive was the Obama Administration?" .

Update:

. I have now seen and heard Obama, the usual suspects in the media and even the Vatican in a disgraceful sprint as to who would be the fastest to mouth the predictable mantra:  “we must not offend the sensitivies of the Muslims and their peace-loving religion - bla bla bla - the people who made this film insulting Islam are bad bad bad - bla bla bla “. Obama, first off the block, won. But I have also seen the trailer of this so-called anti-Islamic film, which apparently caused all this violence. The film-maker by the time I arrived had metamorphosed into an American Jew (two for the price of one). At the risk of stepping on some “sensitivities” toes, I have to say, with my usual positive subjectivity, that no Jewish film maker could possibly make such a bad fake of a film. And deliver it with the punctuality of a German train - i.e. right on time for the release of  this mob violence (at the time of writing it has spread to Egypt, Tunesia, Yemen)  in “celebration” of this horrid horrid date all of us know. Caroline Glick writes:
... The attack in Libya was well planned and executed. It wasn’t about a spontaneous protest against some ridiculous internet movie of Muhammad. The assailants came armed to the teeth, with among other things, RPG 7s. They knew that the US Ambassador was in Benghazi rather than Tripoli. They knew how to track his movements, and were able to strike against him after he and his colleagues left the consulate building and tried to flee in a car...
I soooooo wanted to like Obama but I now think he has blood on his hands, as does Hilary Clinton. Their defence claims "naivity" - but I think, when  the consequences of "naivity"  become indistinguishable from the consequences of complicity, it is wiser and safer to assume complicity.
