Postcard from Occupied Paris, France

Yet again, Muslims are occupying the streets of Paris illegally. Secularity is enshrined in the French constitution, and yet, the cowardly Political leaders let the rot settle in. Every Friday for long months this has been going on without French Authorities enforcing French Law. Finally some brave French Patriots have had enough and are protesting.

Place de Clichy - Paris - France

I took the second part of this ^^^ video from Twitter. (Apologies for the rather bumpy editing, I'm still extremely challenged when it comes to the technical stuff).

 The caption translated reads:

"This did not happen "as usual" for the "Caliphate" in the streets of Clichy. For the first time, secular activists were there."

The small number of these French Patriots from "Forces Laiques" (Secular Forces) is in direct inverse proportion to their courage. These hordes of Muslim Males have been known to be violent. The "battle cry" from the protesters is:

SECULARITY NOW !

The occupation of the streets under the pretext of "prayers" is totally illegal in France where Secularity is enshrined in the constitution, yet the "authorities" have let them go on - yet again - for months and months. Why? Laziness ? Cowardice ? Vote-catching?

This is taking place every Friday, before the Town hall of Clichy. So, finally, for Friday, the 10. November 2017, the Mayor of Clichy is calling his colleagues to a protest against this blatant breaking of French Law by muslims.

Text reads:

Stop the street prayers !
We say "STOP" to the confiscation of our public SECULAR spaceby Muslims for the organisation of prayers. THAT'S ENOUGH !

The Clichy Town Hall is organising a rally of elected officials against street prayers.

It has been several weeks since the mayor of Clichy, Rémi Muzeau (LR), is considering an action against the street prayers held every Friday in front of the town hall. The date of November 10 was fixed before the holidays. And the city council  has invited all the mayors and parliamentarians of the Ile-de-France to join this initiative. "We want to challenge the public authorities with a Republican mobilisation of elected officials", he says. "Residents and traders are exasperated. The situation can not last anymore. "

The city council today asks the state "to enforce the law and to prohibit the illegal occupation of the public domain". "

"Only this week, the maids at a hotel in the Porte de Clichy were all verbalised by the national police and had to pay a fine of 68 € for  protesting against their working conditions  Why do  the police not do the same here every Friday? There is a double standard", says the mayor.

Christine Tasin, director of Resistance Republicaine, where I found out about this laudable  mayoral initiative, comments, with justified scepticism:

It will be interesting to see how many courageous mayors and city councillors will respond ... (ed. hmmmm)

We are witnessing an unprecedented situation in which the state, through its prefect, deliberately abandons the public space each week for months to Islam, and so is sending the strong message to Muslims that nothing will be forbidden to them.

As much as I despise the ideology and nature of Islam--and leftist capitulation, I have a love for Western culture...and it's music. So, I offer here in honor of the (past?) glory of France's capital city this glorious song from a Welshman: John Cale's "Half Past France" from his masterpiece lp of 1973, Paris 1919

P.S. Has Alain Finkielkraut been 'up to' anything interesting lately? I haven't heard about/from him in the past year, or so.

    1. @ Neighborhood Bully (Steven) Thanks for this link about the "new = old" anti-semitism. I will look at it tomorrow - the anniversary of Kristallnacht.
As to Alain Finkelkraut: you can hear/see him weekly (I think) with Elizabeth Levy at "Le Causeur" in "L'esprit d'escalier": https://www.causeur.fr/lesprit-de-lescalier

  3. Thanks, Rita. Also to consider for posting to commemorate Kristallnach?
