When the usual suspects - those who midwived the Muslim Brotherhood takeover of
Libya, Egypt and the Maghreb - favour a so-called "rebel" side, my warning lights switch on and my nearly Pavlovian reaction is to
listen to their opposite side.
I have done so by watching this video which I found on Vlad Tepes and right now I am crying.
This "Syrian Diary" is long, and it is gruesome, quite unbearably so, but it somehow looks very much like the truth to me. That truth which we are not told by the BBC, RTL (France), ABC (Australia) and assorted little lapdogs of powerful propagandist string pullers like Al Jazeera, nor by the Obamas, the Clintons, the Hollandes.
I must warn you, some of the scenes are extremely shocking and not for the faint hearted, but I also think it's one of the most important temoignages of what is really happening "over there" and "over here".
At one stage in this video the orders for this devastation are said to come from Qatar and Saudi Arabia. This reminded me that after the suicide by cop of Mohamed Merah (the Islamist who murdered the little children in a Paris school, because they were Jewish) a video he had shot of his murderous rampage was sent to Al Jazeera in Paris who were going to publish it even before the little bodies were quite cold and it's only after Sarkozy's (the then French President) negotiations with their "head office" (in Qatar) that Al Jazeera desisted.
Who is pulling the strings?
Update:
Muhammed al-Arifi, a very influential Wahhabi cleric from Saudi Arabia has issued a fatwa (religious edict) that permits all Jihadist militants in Syria to engage in "marriages" with Syrian women lasting a few hours in order to satisfy their sexual desires and boost their determination to kill Syrians. He calls this invitation to rape an 'intercourse marriage'. It requires that the Syrian female be at least 14 years old, widowed, or divorced.
This is the side that Obama and assorted Socialist Western Governments like France and Australia (under our new Islamists-schmusing Foreign Minister) have chosen to side with.
My heart goes out to the real Syrians!
