The Beauty and the Beast(s)

The Beauty

Found this little pearl of beauty at Christine Tasin's  Resistance Republicaine posted by their author Jean-Paul Saint-Marc who writes, that this thing of beauty "makes a change from the (French) rappers".  And does it ever !

These soi-disant "French" rappers (mostly not descendants of the brave Gaulois) are indeed some of the most violent and ugly haters of France, rapping on about (with seeming impunity)  "France being a hated Whore", of "coming to rape their mothers/sisters/daughters" and of "decapitating French babies".  If you really want to see/hear horror/hate/ugliness, there is plenty on offer on the "Rap-Scene" of Macron's France

"Cela nous change aussi des rappeurs !

Juste un moment de beauté, pour ne pas oublier que c’est possible… Et qu’il faut continuer de se battre pour que nos enfants connaissent cela.

Magnifique chanson cubaine de 1935 composée par María Teresa Vera, sur un texte de Guillermina Aramburu"

It makes a change from the rappers

Just a moment of beauty, so that we do not forget that it is possible... and that we must continue our fight so that our children too will experience this.

Magnificent Cuban song from 1935 composed by María Teresa Vera, to a text by Guillermina Aramburu

Qué te importe que te amé
Que t’importe que je t’aime

Si tù no me quieres ya,
Si tu ne m’aime plus

El amor que ya ha pasado
L’amour qui s’en ai allé

No se debe recordar.
Il ne doit pas revenir

Fui la ilusion de tu vida
Je fus l’illusion de ta vie

Un dia lejano ya
Un jour déjà éloigné

Hoy represento al pasado
Je ne suis plus que le passé

No me puedo recordar
Je ne peux pas m’y faire

Hoy represento al pasado
Je ne suis plus que le passé

No me puedo recordar
Je ne peux pas m’y faire

Si las cosas que uno quiere
Si les choses que l’on désire

Se pudieran alcanzar
On pouvait les atteindre

Tu me quisieras lo mismo
Tu m’aimerais comme avant

Que veinte años atras.
Comme il y a vingt ans

Con que tristeza miramos
Avec quelle tristesse nous voyons

Un amor que se nos va
Un amour qui s’éloigne

Es un pedazo del alma
C’est un morceau de l’âme

Que se arranca sin piedad.
Qui s’arrache sans pitié.

Es un pedazo del alma
C’est un morceau de l’âme

Que se arranca sin piedad.
Qui s’arrache sans pitié.

Si las cosas que uno quiere
Si les choses que l’on désire

Se pudieran alcanzar
On pouvait les atteindre

Tu me quisieras lo mismo
Tu m’aimerais comme avant

Que veinte años atras.
Comme il y a vingt ans

Con que tristeza miramos
Avec quelle tristesse nous voyons

Un amor que se nos va
Un amour qui s’éloigne

Es un pedazo del alma
C’est un morceau de l’âme

Que se arranca sin piedad.

Que se arranca sin piedad.
Qui s’arrache sans pitié.

Veinte Años (Twenty Years Old)

It doesn't matter to you that I love you

If you don't love me anymore

The love that has gone away

Cannot come back.

I was the illusion of your life

One day already far away

I'm just the past now

I can't get used to it.

I'm just the past now

I can't get used to it.

If the things we desire

We could attain them

You'd love me as before

As it was twenty years ago

With what sadness we see

Love  waning

It is a piece of the soul

That tears away mercilessly.

A piece of the soul

tearing away mercilessly.

If the things we desire

We could attain them

You'd love me as before

As it was twenty years ago

With what sadness we see

Love  waning

A piece of the soul

tearing away mercilessly.

A piece of the soul

That tears away mercilessly.

The Beast(s):

I add the plural "s" to include your many many usual apologists for the unforgivable.

Here is just one example of the beasts that populate France:

French self-produced rapper of Cameroonian origin (but born, nurtured and grown on the local (French) diversity dung heap) Nick Conrad did not enjoy much interest before he entered the spotlight with a music video titled “Hang White People” which was not only literally nauseating visually, but also featured "lyrics" like this:

“...I go to nurseries and kill white babies...Catch them quickly and hang their parents, tear them up to entertain black kids of all ages big and small. Whip them hard — frankly, it stinks of death as blood is gushing...”

His apologists (incl. BBC) say that You Tube suspended this video  immeeeeediately. Well, if "immeeeeeediately" means that they left it on their site for 10+ days and allowed it to be viewed millions of times...

They also accused Marine LePen",  at first the only  public personality to protest against this  most violent among violent rap videos of being: ""extreeeeeeeeeeeeme rrrright wing" and comments of the  "Freedom of speech ends where White Supremacist Nervousness starts" - type  were plentiful.

Thanks mainly to the protests by Marine LePen, this outrage went to trial but this "French" [sic] rapper has many defenders among the main stream media who welcomed the news that he will appeal the 5000 Euro SUSPENDED sentence he got at his trial.

And recently, shortly after the trial over his  notorious clip, he released another creation that featured him strangling a white woman, apparently representing France.  Source here

The rapper sings "I f*ck France I burn France" as he symbolically strangles a white woman.

And there are plenty more where that one came from...
