"Terrorist receives Doctorate from Hebrew University"

Those who read my blog will know by now that I am completely on the side of Israel and the Jewish people, but sometimes I simply despair of what looks to me like a very self-destructive streak in this outstanding people. Brought up Catholic I had already a problem as a child with the dictum to "always tend the other cheek"; it just never was in my nature, but what happened last week at a Hebrew University elevated this advice from Jesus to ridiculous heights:

Anav Silverman from the Algemeiner tells the story: 

"Adel Hidmi, a terrorist who served two prison terms following his involvement in planning a suicide bombing and other terror activities, received his doctorate in chemistry at Hebrew University this past week.

A resident of east Jerusalem, Hidmi was convicted in 1992 for his involvement with terrorist organizations and served ten months in prison. Despite his record, Hebrew University accepted Hidmi as a doctoral candidate where he began his double career as a chemistry student and terrorist net worker, according to a news report in Israeli newspaper, Maariv.

During his doctoral track at Hebrew University’s Department of Chemistry, Hidmi was approached by two Palestinians in Ramallah and asked to locate a man ready to carry out a suicide bombing in Jerusalem in 2002. With the backdrop of the second Intifada and a slew of suicide bombers frequently carrying out attacks, in the midst of writing academic papers, Hindi was able to find a suitable candidate to carry out the bombing.

Three days before the attack was to be carried out in central Jerusalem, an elite army unit arrested the two Palestinians in Ramallah and Hidmi was arrested in Jerusalem. Shin Bet representatives stated in a Jerusalem court that Hidmi had been taking advantage of his Israeli citizenship to organize suicide attacks against civilians.

A Hebrew University cafeteria had also been the deadly target of a terrorist bombing that killed nine students and staff that same year.

When Hidmi was released from prison after serving three years for his terror activities, he requested to complete his doctorate at Hebrew University. An internal committee at Hebrew University gave him the go-ahead, but on a condition. Because Hidmi’s work centered on chemistry experiments which could aid in developing explosives according to Maariv, the university did not allow him to use their laboratories. Hidmi thus completed his research based on past experiments.

This past Sunday, Hidmi was awarded his doctorate degree along with 375 other researchers at Hebrew University’s Mount Scopus campus.

On Wednesday afternoon, Hebrew University criminology student, Adi Golan organized a protest against the university’s decision along with other student movements including Im Tirtzu.
“We organized this protest because we don’t believe it’s legitimate to allow someone who has a terrorist background to earn a doctorate in a subject like chemistry,” Golan told Tazpit News Agency. “Who knows how he [Hidmi] will use the academic and research knowledge he gained against Israel in the future?” she asked.

Good question!

It's dark in Australia today

...on this shortest of days when we enjoy (glass half full) or bemoan (glass half empty) our Winter Solistice. This should, at least astronomically,  also be the start of our winter, but Australia (and New Zealand) still faithfully stick to the mistakes of  their English forefathers who did  not quite know what was what when they arrived here. And so we merrily mark the 1. June as our official start to Winter.

In a throwback to its darkest past, the German government of Angela Merkel has approved of a plan to put special labels on products made by Jews in the Israeli land of Judea and Samaria. Whatever these labels will look like they translate into one thing and one image only: 

This is an absolute outrage, one that is both morally obscene and historically indefensible, and the government of Angela Merkel should be ashamed of itself for going along with such a discriminatory practice.

In light of its own sordid record during the 20th century, Germany and its leaders have a special responsibility to be exceptionally sensitive to such issues, particularly when they relate to Jews. After all, it was 80 years ago, in April 1933, that the Nazis launched a nationwide assault on Jewish owned businesses throughout Germany, painting yellow-and-black Stars of David on storefronts and discouraging people from patronising them.
This was carried out under the slogan, “Kauft nicht bei Juden!” (Don’t buy from Jews!).

Hence, for any German government to stand up and declare: “Don’t buy from Jews,” even if the proposal is limited to the Jews of Judea and Samaria, is downright chilling and should send a shiver down everyone’s spine. (Extracts from the Jerusalem Post).

I now know that YOU would have followed Hitler's orders just as you  obey the orders of  those who have replaced him in tainting Germany. You make me ashamed for Germany, you, and those whose "orders" you follow now. I don't know if you  are obeying them out of cowardice, stupidity or because obeying evil  orders  is simply  what Germans do, but I know that what you are doing is dirty and I have one word for you, Frau Merkel:

...that's what HATE preaching Muslim Cleric  Anjem Choudary said. He also said  that Michael Adebolajo, accused of killing Lee in Woolwich, South London, is "a nice man".

While Choudary told his many  followers that  Lee deserved no sympathy, he  insisted  that those accused of his barbaric murder are martyrs. Filmed speaking on Friday at his office near Walthamstow mosque in East London, he refused to condemn Lee's alleged killers and said:

"Allah said very clearly in the Koran 'Don't feel sorry for the non-Muslims.'

So as an adult non-Muslim, whether he is part of the Army or not part of the Army, if he dies in a state of disbelief then he is going to go to the hellfire. That's what I believe so I'm not going to feel sorry for non-Muslims.

We invite them to embrace the message of Islam. If they don't, then obviously if they die like that they're going to the hell fires."

And here is another little insight into the thinking of  Choudary. In this video below he 'appreciates' the way we, the "Kuffars" are working to pay for his  life style and that of his kind.  He calls his tax-payer funded income:

Unlike some anti-jihadi posters on twitter and a  85 year old lady protesting outside a mosque against the horrible murder,  this nasty piece of work has still not been arrested and he  still "inspires" his followers, loudly, publicly and - judging by what happened last week in London, successfully.

Too many mosques in France?

This article claims that there are too many Mosques in France. And who am I to disagree! I will translate parts of this article for those among you who don't read French, so that you can make your own mind up noting that this article and the video are a couple of years old, so the number of mosques will have increased quite considerably. 

Erdogan, the Prime Minister of Turkey declared in 1999:

"The minarets are our bayonets,

the mosques are our barracks

their domes are our helmets

and the believers are our soldiers."

The white fields hold less than 5 mosques, the next (very light green) coloured fields have between 6 and 10 mosques, followed by 11 to 20 mosques, then 21 to 30 and the dark green fields hold more than 30 mosques.

The article goes on:

"There are too many mosques in France. There should be no mosques on our territory at all because the texts and laws of Islam are a violation of the texts of our Constitution and of our Declaration of Human Rights and the Rights of our citizens.

Furthermore, for prayers, a mosque is not essential. As there is no intermediary needed between the believer and Allah, a mosque is absolutely not needed in order to pray." 

This video with the title: "Mosques invade France!" has 3 parts: the first part shows you the mosques that exist already, part two shows the  mosques under construction and part 3 shows you the mosques which (a few years ago) were at the planning stage. 

The article then asks:

"...Why do Muslims wish so strongly to construct mosques in Europe? Most likely because the mosque can be used as a place of politico-religious meetings and can function as a stronghold."

Patriotism is not racist - Paul Weston (Video)

In the wake of what happened last week in, when two two Muslims slaughtered a young English drummer in a London street to the shouts of Allah U Akbar, Paul Weston, chairman of Britain's counter-Jihad party "Liberty GB" asserts:

 "It's not racist to defend your country"

 The video is nearly 20 minutes long, but I think it's worth listening to. 

In conclusion I ask: 

What could be more "raaacist" 

than a genocidal immigration program?

...can only be as good or as bad as their political leadership. 

Since the murder by two  muslims of the young British soldier on a street in London, many comments have been made about  the Police. I have been brought up to respect the them and often I feel even  sorry for the thankless work they have to do. But, when I see them arresting  and handcuffing  85 year old ladies  for "insulting" muslims,  I find it difficult not to blame them, although the Nuremberg Defence  in their case might be valid.

The most degrading  thing to observe  is that they seem to be afraid of  these muslim thugs and their in-your-face-and-at-your-throat contempt for the law.

 This video was recorded a few years ago in the streets of London, but, if anything, things seem to have changed for the worse. Will someone please stop the emasculation of  these poor  law-enforcement folk.
