I find, what he says, absolutely fascinating and am simply mesmerised by his delivery, which some might find a little on the dramatic side, but I think he is absolutely worth listening to. However, time constraints being what they are, the time-poor among you will find  the core of the Rabbi's message distilled in the 8 minutes between 24.43 and 32:37.

There are still some very courageous French left in this moribund Republique such as, for example,  my friends at  Riposte Laique and Resistance Republicaine . They are not the ones, the Rabbi speaks of, they are wide awake.

Before and After Islam

Like with the other "before" and "after" pictures, (eg before/after miraculous anti-wrinkle creams,  before/after a face lift, before/after  amputations, etc.) I usually prefer the "before" pictures. And this video confirms the rule because, yet again, I prefer the "before pictures". 

The relationship between the title of this post, the subject of the video above and the song by Zarah Leander below is extremely tenuous, not to say "contradictory".

The translator of this musical propaganda video in French says the singing of the Islamic State Butchershop Quartet sounds like the Vienna Girls Choir to her. But I’m convinced that it’s actually a chorus of garden gnomes who have switched their principal occupation from fishing to jihad.

VladTepes watermarked the video with one of those falsetto soprano homunculi, Mehmet bin Mohammed. Watch the top left corner, and you’ll see him. His cousin Mahmoud the Gnomon from Oman is at the top of this post.

The dilemma is always: do we make IS propaganda more available or do we ignore it and hope it goes away.

CHOOSING  to abide by the local custom, which police impose on all IRANIAN WOMEN and  opting to wear a scarf and a hat, the flimsiest "veil" on what this is all about? Not a good look on so many levels. With your choice to submit to  the Ayatollahs you have simply joined the harem of opportunistic politicians who schmuse Islam. And the excuse you gave when questioned about it by the SMH

You knew that Westerners are not required to cover their heads when visiting Iran, so your  metaphorical toe-sucking  of the Mullahs was your decision.

Hillary Clinton (I don't like her)  and Condoleezza Rice (I do)  travelled unveiled for meetings in Iran during their terms as US Secretary of State, donning the headscarf only when visiting a mosque. Not yet  two  years in the UN , a zero-credit organisation  who promotes and accepts Iran's "accession" to their WOMEN'S RIGHTS COMMITTEE (I am not joking! ), Julie Bishop seems to have already joined the dark side. While  Iran's ayatollahs  are adept at Taqiya, they never feel  it necessary to lie when they call for the destruction of Israel and the annihilation of the Jewish People. 

Are we to understand that after this shameful episode, a "conservative" Government whose declared values I share, will join in the hunt on Jews, arm-in-arm with Iran? For when the imposition  of yellow stars of David on Australian Jews? 

Without me! Madame Ambassador Bishop - you have lost my vote for your government. 

A stint as a worker in a  Woman's refuge managed by a corrupt feminist-socialist collective and some close encounters with stridently leftist feminists, have  turned me into a quasi misogynist (yes some women do make good misogynists), so I will not play the faux compassionista, but  I bet you, Madame Ambassador,  care even less about the oppression of women in their cloth-cages.  

How far would you go for your political ambitions?  all the way from "hat 'n' scarf" to Burka?

Andrew Bolt's first fearless comment on this embarrassing affair, while the dogs of the 5th column, formerly known as 4th Estate were still asleep, was; 

"...The Foreign Minister should have stood up for western values  and refused to wear the scarf in the first place".

Bolt equated Bishop’s decision, correctly!,  with the subjugation of women, and also stated that she looked “ridiculous.” teehee ! 

No wonder  the "wankerati" (credit for this neologism goes to Sheik Yermami) call  Bolt a "controversial right wing extremist....raaaaaacist.."  and much much worse. He has not only a quick and  elegant mind, the courage to openly declare all these naked  Kaisers as "naked", but he also  refuses to swim in  the effluent that has become the natural habitat  of what  passes as "media" today. 

Oh - I nearly forgot....this little matter of Australia's Foreign Minister agreeing to share 'intelligence' with Iran!!!

Holocaust Remembrance Day

During Holocaust Remembrance Day sirens are sounded throughout Israel indicating a moment of silence. Traffics stops on the streets. People stand still wherever they are and reflect.

This year, Yuli Zalmonovitch was chosen to sound the siren, bringing extra meaning to the moment because she managed to survive the Holocaust. Although the video  is not in English, words aren’t needed to understand the special meaning you’re about to see.

    

And here is the unforgettable Serge Gainsbourg.  Interviewed about this song "The Sands and Soldiers  of Israel" which he wrote during the six-day war  he said, that - if things had gotten worse for Israel, he would have gone fighting with and for his people. 

Gainsbourg partnered some of the most beautiful women of France and the world - I am not surprised . When I visited his grave in the cemetery of Montparnasse (Paris) I wondered about the cabbage you see on his grave. It is, I was told an allusion to his  "cauliflower ears".

An Australian Soldier speaks up

This video is raw, technically not as sleek'n'slimey as (for example) the beheading/cruxificatons/burnings-in-cages/&assorted allah-u-akbar videos coming to you from the I(slamic) (S)tate (I am told their video editor is one of those "paper Australians") and it is 30 minutes long - but every minute is worth listening to.  

It came to me from Canada via one of the most informative counter-jihad blogs on line: Vlad Tepes  the go-to place if you want to be informed about the latest from that "Religion of Pieces" ("...one piece of you here, another piece of you over there...").  

      

The voice of this Australian Soldier who saw action in East Timor and Afghanistan, should come to us from "that  House on the Hill" and hopefully it will... some day soon.

Passover and Easter

I identify as a "catholic agnostic", but as they say "once a catholic always a catholic", so I will follow the etiquette of a good hostess and give my guests the priority over my "family". Hence first my wishes for a happy Passover to all my Jewish friends.

I leave the "Easter Address" to Andrew Bolt, one of the most courageous political commentators in Australia who simply refuses to swim with the fashionable effluent. He started his editorial on his Sunday Morning "Bolt Report" thusly:

"Easter - we tend to forget what it's about, now I am not Christian but I do know that Easter is to remember a man who was nailed by his hands and his feet to a cross and left to suffocate. And, why was he killed? Because he opened his mouth..."

My own thoughts this Easter go especially to the Christians in Islamic countries who get tortured, raped, sold into slavery, decapitated and crucified: today ! now !! this very minute!!!  because they are Christians.

All this while  the present media-darling, Pope Francis, who should have taken up  their defence was snogging the feet  of young Muslimas, opening  the doors of the Vatican to Imams who promptly prayed to Allah for victory over us "non-believers" and received a "special"  Koran from his "friends".  I wonder if he ever read that  Koran and understands that this genocide of Christians is indeed inspired by it  or has he  only admired the nice cover?

Meanwhile it is  the much defamed Israel who does the work of the Vatican. 

What, you might ask, could the Christian Church do to prevent this slaughter of Christians? The beautiful Hirsi Ali offers some food for thought:
