My friend Jeff R. is a highly intelligent, well read and open-minded American-born Australian who was educated during a time when schools were not yet grooming children in gender re-assignment, and Universities were not yet factories for producing politically indoctrinated, moronic herd animals. And yet...he too fell for many of the lies told so successfully about Donald Trump.
Teaching in the field, the story which shocked him the most and which he could neither forget nor forgive, was the widely reported "mocking people with disabilities" by the President Elect. "I cannot believe that Trump would do that !!!" I told my friend, "but he DID, I saw it myself !"came the answer from a man who, normally, is really not your gullible type.
So I'm glad I came across these two videos which show that Donald Trump, at least in this case, was not only taken out of context, but that the context was maliciously manipulated.

My own predictions were not very good: "Donald Trump will NOT be elected" I boldly announced fancying myself a bit of a Cassandra. I give myself half of a little brownie point for predicting that "Mrs. Clinton's presidency will not last the full term.
Well lucky us, that most predictions did not come through.
With Donald Trump driving the bus, the ride over the next 4 or 8 years might get a little bumpy, but with Hillary Clinton we would have had Huma Abedin as "first Lady" and via her the Muslim Brotherhood/Sisterhood in the White House and and we would have had to labour, not only under the weight of Political Correctness, but also under Islamic Correctness, because Hillary owes "them" big time. While even some of my friends consider Donald Trump a "lose canon", I'd rather have that, because a lose canon might yet land on a good place whereas a poisoned arrow will do damage wherever it lands.

Ann Coulter took the President Elect seriously from the start but but is intelligent enough to not automatically have taken him literally.
During the Europa Conference "for a new European renaissance", held in Paris on the 15. October 2016, President Francois Hollande, whose admiration for Hillary Clinton goes back at least to the destruction of Libya, put his cards on the table by fearlessly predicting:

Time for a little confession: Secretly I had actually hoped that Mrs. Clinton would win this race to the bottom, because - should "the Donald' win, his followers would expect him to perform miracles and immediately walk on water. Whereas, win or lose this time, he has lifted enough skirts on the corruption of the Obama/Clinton/Saudi/Sorros/etc camp for the stench to awaken many a sleeping sheep (if I may mix a few metaphors), and he has helped a groundswell to build that has become a real agent for change:

Donald Trump has "mates" in Sydney, Australia.
Tomorrow, invited by the delectable Ross Cameron, they will celebrate Donald Trump's "Last Stand" in Sydney, Australia from "8 am till death or glory", with "good coffee, good company, Bud, Buffalo wings and live cable news feed". One of the most intelligently outspoken Australians, former Labor Leader Mark Latham, and the terminally charming Editor of the "Spectator", (a magazine I recommend), Rowan Dean will join Ross Cameron.

PS: As I'm writing this, the taxpayer funded Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) are continuing to violate their Charter ie "objective " and "balanced" reporting, and are continuing to shamelessly hassle for the corrupt Clinton camp. (ABC TV Lateline, 10.30 pm Sydney time).
Insulting the intelligence of any half-way informed viewer, they even present a quick show of fake "balance" by interviewing some token "Republicans". If you know the modus operandi of ABC (whose main news "source" is Al Jazeera - a big majority of Saudis prefer Clinton and why wouldn't they!) you will not be surprised to hear that their chosen "Republican vox populi" were "arch conservatives" so strongly anti-Trump that they publicly announced they would vote for Clinton. After the recent vandalising of the "Trump Star" on Hollywood's Walk of Fame, a homeless D. Trump supporter had placed herself next to it to guard it against further damage.
She was quoted as saying, "I'm gonna stay here and watch this and make sure nobody touches it", attracting even more unpleasant attention by holding up a sign which read: ".... Vote Trump."

(*) I have heard women refer to what Donald Trump called "pussy" during a ribald conversation among males, as "c**t" and not only when they were among females. What's more, the conversation happened in what Trump thought was a private space and long before his presidential ambitions were even a glimmer in his eye.

If you think that there is a little too much covering of the US elections, the interconnectedness of all things corruptly political is such that the US election results in November will concern all of us, wherever we live.
"Butt-hurt Globalists" are afraid of Donald Trump, that's who, according to Paul Joseph Watson. And Stefan Molyneux, putting himself temporarily into the shoes of a Leftist wails :
"We need just ONE more election win, just ONE more...!"
What about those who are rather afraid of the Obamas, the Sorroses, the Clintons, the Merkels, Sadiq Khans and Hidalgos, the Erdogans and their ilk? Here is Donald Trump, articulating at least one of their fears, and it does rhyme ..........on several levels:

But it is not the racists or the sexists that worry me most, it is the herd, made up of morons (time is running too short for euphemisms).

But, about that first "debate" that had Donald Trump poised against two collaborating adversaries, each dishonest in their own way, he lost it because he did not get down in the mud with them. You cannot win against dirty fighters by being a gentleman just as you cannot win the war that Islam has declared on us by doing the Kumbaya thing. Watching the successive traps Trump stumbled into, I also saw that Clinton's lowering her glance incessantly down to the pulpit was not a coquettish batting of her heavily enhanced eyelids, but a suspicious kind of looking up the recipes for her Ad Hominems that were as planned as they were nasty. THIS twitter postseems to confirm my suspicions, as does this one.
PS: I wish though Trump would somehow moderate his hairstyle, I really mean that !!!
(*) People who work in Australian hospitals are the very best, visiting friends/family of patients who stay on and on and on, loudly and wayyyy past visiting hours are the worst .
So the title of an article written by Michelle Malkin, a senior editor at the Conservative Review, published on the 21. September, 2016. The prose that follows is as feisty as the title and when I grow up I want to write like her. For the moment though, I will just copy her gutsy article, unaltered and in toto.

U.N. officials convened in NYC this week to push for “collective action” to “protect the rights of refugees and migrants, to save lives and share responsibility for large movements on a global scale.”
Let me put this as politely as possible: Bug off, U.N. nitwits.
Islamic jihadists are lopping off infidels’ heads; kidnapping young African girls, Christian missionaries and Western tourists; incinerating Afghan schoolgirls; imposing mass genital mutilation on Muslim girls and marrying them off to lecherous brutes while they’re still in grade school; pushing gays off of rooftops; mob-raping European women; casting fatwas on cartoonists, filmmakers and authors; and stabbing, shooting and bombing Jews, Christians and ex-Muslim apostates all over the world.

General Assembly to rail against self-preservationism in favor of “global integration.” Instead of a full-frontal fusillade against al-Qaida, the Islamic State and all the other homicidal spreaders of Allahu Akbar-it is, Obama aimed his sharpest barbs at American supporters of Donald Trump and U.K. voters who voted to withdraw from the European Union.
“A nation ringed by walls would only imprison itself,” he lectured.
(Pay no attention to the brand-new fence at the White House now nearly 14-feet high to protect Obama from unwanted outside “integration.”)
This week’s U.N. production of Caring Theater is just the latest attempt by the world’s most feckless social engineers to compensate for their own abject, chronic failures.
The U.N. Commissioner for Human Rights, Zeid Ra’ad Al Hussein, bloviated against “race-baiting bigots, who seek to gain, or retain, power by wielding prejudice and deceit, at the expense of those most vulnerable.”
What he didn’t talk about: the decades-old corruption, fraud, and abuse perpetrated by the U.N. itself and its vast refugee bureaucracy.
In Malaysia, U.N. refugee officials have been implicated in black market schemes to sell United Nations High Commissioner on Refugees cards and false identity papers in order to get resettled in the United States, Australia and Canada.
In Lebanon, Arabic-language newspaper Al Monitor reported this year that “Aid organizations have become fountains of corruption, while ‘humanitarian mafias’ accrue massive sums” through U.N. funding.
Last year, fiscal watchdogs blew the whistle on systemic management of the U.N. refugee agency’s nearly billion-dollar budget over the last two years. An internal audit deemed every measure of financial controls over refugee relief funds “unsatisfactory.” The report came just two years after another internal assessment raised red flags over “the lack of adequate managerial control” by U.N. officials contracting with third parties purportedly helping refugees.
All that came in the wake of the latest U.N. rape epidemic earlier this spring involving peacekeepers in the Central African Republican who sexually abused civilians, including more than 100 girls in one prefecture.
That outbreak follows years of brutal exploitation by U.N. staff members in Nairobi who shook down African refugees seeking resettlement in North America, Europe and Australia while the U.N. looked the other way. And that scandal ran parallel to another widespread U.N. peacekeepers’ sexual predator ring involving refugees that stretched from the Congo to Bosnia and Eastern Europe.
U.N. brass downplayed the barbaric treatment of refugees in its care as the result of a few rogues. But rape rooms and internet pedophile video productions were run by senior U.N. officials and other civilian personnel, untold numbers of whom fathered babies with young girls and teens held as prostitutes and sex slaves. Nothing has changed.
Before the world’s policemen barge in on us again to denigrate our efforts to protect our home, they should spare us the refugee sanctimony and clean up their own.
