Okay, I give in: everyone seems to equate Paris with  Edith Piaf.  And although I feel  that, like Mozart's kleine Nachtmusik, her Vie en rose is overplayed  and I'm quite over it, who am I to not bring you a little piece of this parisian  blanc mange. ;)

In its centre is a  living tree, around which the wooden church was built. But go to any of the russian orthodox church services here, if for nothing else but the the warmth,  the incense and, surtout THE MUSIC!.



Judeophobie is alive and well in France

“As it is now widely known, on March 19 at eight a.m., a man (Mohamed Merah) entered the Jewish school Hatora Ozar, in Toulouse, France. He killed a rabbi and his two children, then an eight year old little girl, by shooting her three times in the head after dragging her by the hair to place her in front of the camera he was carrying. These were the worst anti-Semitic acts committed on French soil for decades….”

writes  Guy Milliere, from the French site Dreuz.info in an  article which  I post here because it's in English and because the writer tells it as I see it. He concludes:

"The question is not whether there will be another anti-Semitic murder in France, but rather: when will it happen again."

Meanwhile in Algeria, the beatification of a monster continues ...

Incidentally, Mohamed Merah's remains were buried during a muslim ceremony in France, because Algeria refused to accept them "for security reasons".

As my little flat is just ‘round the corner from the Pantheon,  I can call myself a neighbour of the man who wrote this letter at a time when France was experiencing a period of anti-Semitism. The Judenhass then, which  led to the Dreyfus affair,  came mainly (I think)  from the “the-Jews-killed-our-Jesus” brigade. Today it’s here again, but this time around it's coming mainly from the kind who dare to find excuses for - and even “honour” the Islamist child murderer, Mohamed Merah.

Meanwhile we are warned, ad nauseam, by the media and the politicians in election mode not to make any “amalgame” - in connecting, even tangentially, the actions of this monster with Islam.

Well, this vermin went to a Jewish school, massacring a Rabbi, his two little children and the 8 year old daughter of the school Principal. He told police that  the thing he regretted most was having arrived at the Jewish school too early, and so not having had a chance to kill as many Jewish children as he would have liked.

Asked for his “reasons” why he killed those Jewish children, he said that he wanted to avenge “all the Palestinian children killed by the Jews”.

So Monsieur le President, I am no Zola, but I want you to know that  I will still not obey your command to not make any “almagame” bien au contraire. I think we MUST make the connection between the massacre of little Jewish children and the Allah Akbar mob, especially since the snuff movie this arab/muslim monster made of the killings was “overlaid with Koranic verses”, according to the Paris bureau chief of al-Jezeera, the station to which the tape was sent. And al-Jezeera would not make any  unfair amalgames when it comes to Islam now, would they?

So, Monsieur le President, I too accuse.

J’accuse all those who spread big lies about Israel and the Jews…

They are the ones responsible for those little Jewish children having been murdered  for the simple reason that they were children and  Jewish. They are the ones who don’t hate the Jews because of Israel, but who hate Israel because of the Jews. So I accuse them of incitement to murder in the name of allah.

What Golda Meir said soooooooooo long ago still holds today (even more so):

“We will have peace with the Arabs when they love their children more than they hate us”

TOULOUSE (Reuters) - Une trentaine de jeunes gens, essentiellement des filles, se sont rassemblés samedi dans le quartier toulousain des Izards, où a grandi Mohamed Merah, pour honorer la mémoire du tueur de sept personnes abattu jeudi par la police, comparant leur douleur à celles des familles des victimes.

Une centaine de membres des forces de l'ordre ont entouré cette manifestation statique au cours de laquelle une femme portant un voile intégral a harangué le groupe.

La police toulousaine avait détecté des appels à manifester samedi matin et a empêché le groupe d'en rejoindre un autre.

About Thirty Young people, mostly girls, gathered Saturday in the Toulouse district of Izards, where Mohamed Merah grew up, to honour this killer of 7 people who was killed by police on Thursday. They compared their “suffering” with those of the victims’ families.

Around hundred members from the security forces surrounded this static demonstration during which a woman, wearing the full veil harangued the group.

The Toulouse police had detected calls to demonstrate this Saturday morning and have prevented the group from joining other groups.

And one more thing: Among those “French” people who hero worship a gruesome child killer, the law that makes it an offence to wear the integral veil in France is obviously respected as much as human life.

I want to write about lighter things - after all, it’s supposed to be “postcards from Paris”, but I just came across words from witnesses of what they now call the  "Tragédie de Toulouse" and I just can’t get rid of the horrifying image in my mind, especially as they are now starting in some nasty quarters (you will see it on the net) to glorify this monster and making a “martyr“ out of him. His older brother declared himself “proud” of these horrifying acts, a teacher in a French school ordered a 1 minute silence for the killer and, although there is still wall to wall commentary in the media about it, more is said about the killer than his victims.

And here is an extract from some of the  survivors’ and witnesses’ reports :

“… first shooting Rabbi Jonathan Sandler along with his two sons, six year old Aryeh and two year old Gavriel. Then, as she was trying to run away, grabbing the eight year old Miriam Monsonego by her long blond hair, holding on to her while he fumbled, trying one gun then another, finally shooting the struggling girl in the head before easily walking away...".

They tell us not to “faire l’amalgame”, well, sorry, I will make the connection which is simply too obvious when such a killer declares himself a Jihadist and says Allah Akbar after some (or all?) of his acts.

In an article to our partisan  ABC, Tariq Ramadan, the cleverest of all media manipulators when it comes to euphemising the teachings of Allah, has begun the process of whitewashing the killer and of awarding the mantle of victimhood .

He waxes tenderly:

“…Mohamed Merah is, in other words, rather like an overgrown adolescent - unemployed, at a loose end, soft-hearted but also disturbed and incoherent, as illustrated by his long hours of conversation with the police as they surrounded his apartment. An unbalanced, provocative, conscious, non-suicidal killer, we are told, who wanted, as he put it, to "teach France a lesson.…[snip]...A substantial number of French citizens are treated as second-class citizens. Mohamed Merah was French (whose behaviour was as remote from the Qur'anic message as it was from Voltaire's texts). Is it so difficult to acknowledge this fact? There, indeed, lies the French problem."

The somewhat angry answer I posted to the taxpayer funded ABC will probably not see the light of the screen, since they never publish my contributions, so I will opportunistically take the floor of my own blog and post it here. (Ahhh the fringe benefits of blogging…)

This is what I wrote to the Australian Broadcasting service:

"Being the ABC, you will, of course, have a prominent member of the ghastly "Muslim Brotherhood" (in fact the grandson of its founder) commenting on this drama.

Apart from the sly manipulation of perceptions, there are quite a few factual (and I think deliberate) mistakes in this quaint little ode to the eternal victim, the Muslim/Islamist.

To mention but one of those factual “mistakes“: this Arab/Muslim, originally from Algeria, did not say that he would "like to teach France a lesson", he said "I will bring France to her knees". He also did not kill Christians/Muslims/Jews indiscriminately, he definitely aimed mainly for Jews (even having travelled to Israel for "research" to this effect).

And this islamist murderer was not all that far removed from the koranic messages either. Nor are propagandists and media darlings (such as Tariq Ramadan) as innocent in the making of that Jihadist, as you and he would have us believe. "
