POTUS, PUTIN and boobs

The more I see of Obama...

...the more I like Vladimir Putin.

The photo below comes from an article about a  Femen protest, (h/t VladTepes). I don't feel in a mood serious enough to make any political comment other than to recommend that any Western woman intending to mary into Islam should first  read books like  "Not Without My Daughter". I simply  found this picture with Vladimir Putin's and Angela Merkel's  respective expressions irresistible.

Joan of Arc or Marine LePen?

You have met this beautiful young French woman in my previous post. For me, she represents what makes France still beautiful. I bet she is no-one's door mat, yet she remains feminine. She is as courageous as they come (read the threats against her neck in the last post). She looks a bit like Marine LePen looked in her early youth, I think. My vote for the next Model of "Marianne"* goes to this brave "Blondie from Youtube".

(*)The official busts of Marianne initially had anonymous features, appearing as women of the people. From 1969, however, they began to take on the features of famous women, starting with the actress Brigitte Bardot.[2] She was followed by Mireille Mathieu (1978), Catherine Deneuve (1985)

The new French Resistance

There is a real  groundswell against the far left  Government of  Francois Hollande  who  owes far too great a debt  to those who are intent on transforming secular France (once called  "Fille ainée de l'Eglise")  into a "submissive daughter of  Islam". It  is  not yet allowed any oxygen in the main media who, in the majority,  are mere mouthpieces of a rather frightened political elite, but you are seeing this resistance emerge in online papers, on  blogs, on  twitter, on face book and on personal videos. Like for example the video of  this young woman who posts as "La Blonde de Youtube" and who here, in five minutes, articulates courageously some  politically incorrect truths on immigration, integration, jihadists returning to France  from Syria etc that  Le Monde would never face, let alone publish.

She is neither of the Right nor of  the Left, she says; "I am here for my country, who is in serious danger, I am a patriot".  She feistily tells those who threaten her with death by throat-cutting: "Et bien, ecoutez-Messieurs: Je vous attends"

"It is encouraging and refreshing that a dynamic youth is joining us in our combats to save France" writes Djamila GERARD from Riposte Laique where I found this video:

The racist lynching of George Zimmerman

Living under a rock, and not an American one at that, I  had only vaguely heard  of  the 'Zimmerman Case' without really listening.  Apparently there was a wall-to-wall media coverage of the court case, something of  an 'O.J. Simpson Case' mirror image. When I heard the American President implicitly condemn George Zimmerman before and now after the trial, I was slightly disturbed and then I found this video on Vlad's Blog. Seeing our tax-payer funded media (who lean so much to the left that their default position is practically horizontal) taking the same slant as Obama, I put my chair  firmly next to George Zimmerman's.

Martin Luther King Jr.'s "I Have a Dream" speech, will - once again - be used and abused, but although, America is now a nation that has a black President, due in no small part to the colour of his skin, I think that for George Zimmerman, this part of Martin Luther King's speech has not been fulfilled:

"...I have a dream that my four little children
will one day live in a nation
where they will not be judged by the color of their skin
but by the content of their character..."

This video is confronting btw.

UpdateGeorge Zimmerman comes out of hiding

Update 2Family saved by George Zimmerman grateful but afraid of threats.

Update 3Pamela Geller's take on this:

Update 4: A black on (Australian) white murder - no self defence, just boredom and racism. Not a peep out of Obama. Does that make the POTUS a one-way racist? Or are all racists "one-way"?

Bush v. Ahmadinejad at the UN

If only....

Who's next?

What do Nazism and the Palestinian movement have in common?

The Nazis sang:

"Denn heute gehoert uns Deutschland
und morgen die ganze Welt..."
(Today Germany belongs to us,
Tomorrow the whole world").

Islam's ambition, although not turned into a catching tune yet, is pretty similar, they call it "Caliphate". Israel is an obstacle to this global ambition, so "Palestine" and the "Palestinians" seem to be used, rather dishonestly I think,  in the propaganda war waged against this  brave Jewish state.

The "love" for Nazism  is surviving, even in the Melbourne of the 21st century:

Postcard from Paris 14.7.2013

Francois Hollande is not a very popular president; friends tell me that many disapproving whistles "greeted" his arrival on the Champs Elysees:

The French President, his mistress and some chicken...

"Le Printemps français organise un lâcher de poules sous les fenêtres d'Hollande"

"The French Spring organises a release of chickens under the windows of Hollande"

The banner reads:
Valerie: Spouse, Concubine or  Chickie (girl friend)?
For Tax reasons, the President must make a choice!

On Saturday, militants of the right wing movement "Printemps Francais" let a dozen or so chicken run free in front of the French President's Residence which he shares with his partner, Valerie Trierweiler. Three demonstrators were arrested for lèse majesté of the President de la Republique. more here.

At the time of writing I have no detailed news about the militants, and even less news about the chicken.

Quote of the day from Miss Anonymous:
In France to not have a lady on the side is saying to the voters:
“I am not good at multi tasking”.

Is Islam a peaceful religion?

Earlier this year the Oxford Union Society debated whether "Islam is a Religion of Peace".

Here, Daniel Johnston, journalist and editor of what he calls the "not very right-wing" magazine Standpoint speaks for the No case and calls Islam "the most direct threat to Western civilisation in the world today".

However, Oxford being what it has become, the end result was as follows:

MOTION: THIS HOUSE BELIEVES ISLAM IS A RELIGION OF PEACE.

Yes: 286
No : 168

The future of Egypt?

I don’t know whether to be frightened of  that youngster or frightened for him. On reflection:...I think I will  chose  to be elated by what might well be the future of Egypt.

Message to the “sharing’n’caring” cultural relativists, especially those flying the banner of  "feminism": listen to what this young man has to say about women under Islam, and LEARN or forever hold your peace! (I was soooo tempted to misspell "peace" in this case...)

Does he hold the future of Egypt?

From the sublime to the dangerously ridiculous or ridiculously dangerous:

This fellow, Yasir Qaadhi Memphil Imam holds - among others - a Masters and a Doctorate in Islamic Studies from YALE..yes THAT Yale! Listen to this lecture on "Shirk" and be very nauseated, or very afraid:

Does he hold the future of the West?

Update: 8.7.2013

This disturbing video was posted by "Alexander" on the site of  "Resistance Republicaine".  Looking at the poignancy of its sub-titling, I believe that this film is authentic.

"Terror by the muslim brotherhood and Pro-Morsi protesters throughout Egypt's Provinces..."

Marine Le Pen

“Un government qui a peur me fait peur”
(Marine LePen)

I have been an unashamed (it's not chic) admirer of this magnificently strong woman from the beginning. She is the only real hope for France. She will be a pragmatic leader, but one who will lead, unafraid! I don't think any other politician, woman or man,  has been as smeared, defamed, sneered at, threatened, misquoted by the "pack" as Marine Le Pen has, but finally "they" are slinking away, and the French are listening.

h/t vladtepes

About time too!

Oh, and one more thing:

IF  Marine Le Pen is, as they repeat ad nauseam: "extreeeeeeeeeeeeeeme faaaaaaaaaaaar rrright",
then colour me "extreeeeeeeeeeeeeeeme faaaaaaaaaaaar rrright" too!  hmpff.

Update 3.7.2013:

SHAME BRUSSELS, SHAME !

For my French readers, I have not had time to translate this yet.

Men of England...Rise like Lions

Tommy Robinson & Kevin Carroll, doing a charity walk (raising money for a little girl with cancer) and intending to "pay their respects" to  Lee Rigby at the place where he was murdered get assaulted by a thug. It is not the attacker who gets arrested, but the two EDL leaders.

Someone in the Twitter-sphere commented that this was like the muslim woman getting stoned for having been raped. An in-your-face comparaison, but which I find  justified when I read that Tommy Robinson has been threatened with arrest should he publish the many death threats he and his family get.

The self-appointed intellectual 'elite' might sneer at Tommy Robinson and the class he proudly represents, but I think Socrates would have recognised  in him a   "Fellow Gadfly".  And, the  way he is treated by the English "Authorities"  proves, I think, my little theory which will, no doubt, have the "intelligenzia" run for the smelling salts.

The most telling  frame in this video is the picture, where Tommy Robinson is pushed  into the Police van, hand-cuffed, with the back of his T-shirt showing: "SUPPORT OUR TROOPS".

'Men of England, heirs of Glory,
Heroes of unwritten story,
Nurslings of one mighty Mother,
Hopes of her, and one another;

'Rise like Lions after slumber
In unvanquishable number,
Shake your chains to earth like dew
Which in sleep had fallen on you -
Ye are many - they are few.’

Do listen to this magnificent Shelley poem, read here  by Alan Cox
who gives the most stirring  interpretation of it  I have heard so far:
